uma exports snow white quartz Snow white quartz is another form of quartz with almost same kind of composition as glassy quartz. These are white in colour and are naturally available in sizes of 3-12 inches. They are used in the ceramic industry, refractories and cement industry and for landscaping purposes. They are available in various sizes and shapes as demanded by our customers. Snow white quartz are also available based on the size of their particles for example granular particles, powder and boulders.

Glassy Quartz
uma exports glassy quartz Gassy quartz is a crystal form of silica found mostly in hills. It is a naturally occurring raw mineral with concoidal fracture (no cleavage). Such rocks are usually composed of silica tetrahedral and finds usage mainly in the glass industry because of its natural glassy and near transparent property. They help in production of various kinds of glass products like capillary tubes, beakers etc. We produce completely according to the requirements of our clients.

Quartz Sand

uma exports quartz sand These are sand sized particles of quartz mainly found on beaches. It is important to note that the longer the river, the more time the earth has to purify the materials, and the "cleaner" the quartz sand on the beach. It is used mostly in industries like foundry, construction, abrasive blasting, railroad, water purifier etc.

Potassium Feldspar

uma exports potassium feldspar Feldspar is the most essential material used in ceramics. Feldspar are a group of closely related minerals that make up the earth's crust. These minerals can be grouped into two major categories:
  • The plagioclase feldspar
  • The alkali feldspar (most of which are potassium feldspar or K-feldspar)

All of them are based on the silica group, a cluster of atoms consisting of silicon and oxygen, which in the feldspar forms rigid three-dimensional interlocking frameworks. It is mostly used as bonding agent along with magnesium oxide, magnesium chloride and other synthetic glue in the manufacture of:
  • Abrasives
  • Wheels
  • Discs and other shapes.

Sodium Feldspar

uma exports sodium feldspar Sodium Feldspar is the universal flux used in all ceramic bodies. None of the minerals found in the feldspar group is found pure and it contain traces of anorthite, iron-oxide and magnesia. It is widely used in the following:
  • As flux in the fabrication of glass
  • Ceramic
  • Dental Porcelain
  • Porcelain Insulator
  • Fruits
